Hundreds of tricycle (Keke) drivers in Anambra State have publicly declared their support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s reelection bid by holding a rally in Awka. This event was organized to show solidarity and appreciation for his administration’s policies.
Led by coordinator Osita Obi, the drivers praised Governor Soludo for improving their welfare through the elimination of multiple taxation and the ongoing construction of roads across the state. “Soludo is the best,” Obi stated, emphasizing their commitment to ensuring his victory in the upcoming November 8 election.
The drivers highlighted Soludo’s vision to transform Anambra into an economic hub, acknowledging his strong leadership and dedication to sustainable development. They announced plans for a massive rally that aims to gather over 70,000 Keke drivers from major cities such as Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, and Ekwulobia.
Additionally, they called on the governor to conduct official elections for Keke drivers statewide, believing such a platform would enhance unity and mobilization within their community. This endorsement reflects growing grassroots support for Governor Soludo as he seeks a second term in office.
