As Governor Uba Sani marks his second year in office, the Kaduna State Government has highlighted a range of developmental strides under his administration, spanning health, education, infrastructure, and rural development.

According to the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, the anniversary activities began with interfaith prayers held at Kano Road Mosque and United English Baptist Church in Kaduna, where Muslim and Christian faithful offered prayers for peace and continued progress in the state.

The administration listed key achievements, including the construction or renovation of over 600 classrooms and the establishment of 62 new secondary schools. It also cited the completion of three Vocational and Technology Skills Acquisition Centres in Soba, Rigachikun, and Samaru Kataf.

In the health sector, the government said it had upgraded Primary Health Centres to level 2 status, equipped them with personnel and medical supplies, and begun the remodelling of 13 General Hospitals. The Kachia General Hospital, one of the remodelled facilities, is scheduled to be commissioned as part of the celebrations.

The administration also pointed to rural infrastructure projects, including farm-to-market roads and the completion of legacy projects inherited from previous governments.

Governor Sani was described as “a symbol of peace and inclusivity,” credited with promoting harmony across Kaduna’s diverse ethnic and religious communities.

Residents have been invited to take part in a health walk and attend commissioning ceremonies, as the government marks what it describes as “two years of transformational and impactful leadership.”
