United States-based streamer Kai Cenat visited the Makoko Children School Orphanage Home in Lagos, Nigeria, to provide support through donations of school bags, uniforms, and other educational materials. During his visit, Cenat engaged with the children through dancing, painting, and games, describing the experience as “pleasing.”
Cenat expressed a strong connection to Nigeria, noting that the warm reception he receives in Lagos motivates his repeated visits. He reflected on missing the festive season in Lagos as a regret and emphasized his desire to explore and understand Nigerian culture more deeply.
The 24-year-old content creator first visited Makoko in 2024, contributing $3,000 towards a school project for the community. His current visit continues his support for the orphanage and highlights his ongoing engagement with the city.
During his stay, Cenat was also received by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina. Cenat is internationally recognized for his live-streamed content on platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, where he commands a large following, particularly among young audiences.
