The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has announced the suspension of its State Secretary, Mr. Sa’idu Adamu, following allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
In a statement released on Tuesday in Kaduna, the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Mrs. Maria Dogo, said the decision was taken in accordance with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended).
According to Dogo, the suspension was approved during a meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.
“The suspension, which takes immediate effect, will last for one month pending the outcome of investigations and subsequent decisions of the party,” she stated.
Dogo further noted that Mr. Adamu is barred from participating in any party activities during the suspension period.
She reaffirmed the commitment of the State Working Committee, led by Chairman Mr. Edward Percy Masha, to uphold internal discipline, fairness, and justice within the party.
“The ongoing efforts of the committee are aimed at strengthening party structures and ensuring accountability across all ranks,” Dogo added.
